My interest in real estate started when I was 14 years old. My mother had purchased a real
estate course book which I read, leading me to read more about the subject.
I attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a degree in biology and the intention of
becoming a dentist. After graduation I took a collection job. That job lasted only two months
before I started my real estate career. My first transaction was the purchase of five units in
Florida for $45,000. I purchased these units with only $10 down, and sold them for $175,000.
Since that first transaction 20 years ago I have bought and sold hundreds of homes and notes.
