Fox Point Lending has established a local presence in Providence, RI for the purposes of originating, underwriting and servicing 1st position commercial mortgage loans. From our preliminary research, we have found the North East Private mortgage lending market to be predominantly occupied by decentralized lenders with borrowers and borrowers’ agents (attorneys, title companies, etc.) resigned to forming relationships with multiple lenders. Alternatively, we are looking to create a centralized lending presence by first establishing a relationship with a regional bank and second, leveraging our private equity contacts.
